We offer private instruction in the following instruments or instrument groups:
- Piano (all styles, ages 5 and up)
- Voice (all styles, ages 7 and up)
- Guitar (all styles, electric, acoustic or bass, ages 8 and up)
- Drums (kit drums, ages 7 and up)
- Clarinet, Flute and other woodwinds (all styles, ages 8 and up)
- Music Theory (includes learning the language of music, reading notes, ear training and interactive music games, ages 5 and up)
Tuition Prices
- 30-Minute Private Instruction - $70.00/mo
- 45-Minute Private Instruction - $105.00/mo
- 60-Minute Private Instruction - $140.00/mo
- 60-Minute Music Masters Class - $15.00/ea
- Kindermusik© Classes - average $12/ea
Our Rates are competitive with other teachers in the Clear Lake area. A survey of Gulf Coast Music Association members in 2006 revealed that the average rate for 30-minute lessons was $75 per month. For private lessons, there is also an annual registration fee of $50.00 that helps to cover music, books, and other materials needed throughout the year.
Fee Schedule
All tuition payments are due on or before the first day of the month. That means that if your first lesson in August falls on the 5th, you should pay your Tuition during the last week of July. Failure to pay tuition promptly could result in losing your lesson time slot, as we may be forced to give it to another student who is willing to follow our fee schedule. Festivals and recitals also often have an associated fee, and may also require an accompanist fee. Parents will be notified at least 2 weeks in advance of any registration deadlines for festivals and recitals, so please check the student's notebook for blogletters and memos each week after your child's lesson. Kindermusik students also have a materials fee, but if varies by class. Check the Kindermusik portal above for more information.
